Three Master Masons formed the initial Triangle of Louis Goaziou in 2009. The Triangle grew strong with very dedicated and regularly attending members and was granted a Charter for Louis Goaziou Lodge #1953 on January 22, 2012.  
 
All members shared the desire to work the George Martin Ritual, which was practiced over 120 years ago by our American Federation founders, Brothers Louis Goaziou and Antoine Muzzarelli.

Origins and History

Louis Goaziou Lodge participates at the annual American Federation Convention and attends local Inter-Obedience meetings, where we engage in dynamic discussions with members of different Orders.

To introduce high school seniors to Freemasonry, Louis Goaziou Lodge #1953 has established a scholarship program.
Our goal is to offer financial assistance to one graduating high school senior to pursue further education. 
This scholarship program is open to all Seniors enrolled in a Washington, D.C. or surrounding metro area High School who are planning to attend an accredited U.S. college or other educational program. 
Eligible students must be on track to graduate or complete high school, be in good standing, as well as complete a quiz about Freemasonry in the history of the United States. 

Our Lodge meets on the 2nd Sunday of the month.
